If at first you don't succeed.....

Well...we had some very industrious girls who went and made their hat designs based on their plans. We picked 4 hats to be constucted then we put them to the test!! We got some of the girls from our Emerald city scene to practice wearing their hats while moving and singing!! We had some very interesting results!!!
We used the best possible friendly way to critique our hats and this is what we decided!!

This hat was a great representation of the Emerald city made with papier mache but unfortunately not stable enough to wear on stage!!!

 

This hat was colourful but yet too small for the audience to appreciate its detail!!!

 

This one was stucturally sound and we could dance about with it...but not colourful enough for our Emerald city!!!

 

We're getting there...big, bright and colourful but might need some embellishment.
